API Integration Services in NZ - Stop Running Your Business on Copy-Paste
If data lives in one system and needs to be in another, and a human is the thing moving it between them - that's a problem we fix. We build API integrations for NZ businesses: connecting your ecommerce store to your accounting software, your CRM to your website, your booking system to your calendar. The systems you already use, finally talking to each other.
The Real Cost of Disconnected Systems
What Disconnected SystemsActually Costing You
Most businesses don't add up the cost of manual data transfer.
Here's what it looks like in practice:
Orders from your ecommerce store manually entered into Xero
Customer records updated in the CRM, then updated again in the database, then updated again somewhere else
Booking confirmations sent manually because the booking system doesn't talk to the calendar
Inventory counts done in the warehouse system and typed into the website
Reports built by pulling data from four tools into a spreadsheet every Monday
This isn't just slow - it's error-prone, it delays decisions, and it's consuming hours your team could be using on actual work. One integration project often saves more staff time than hiring a new person.
What We Integrate
SystemsWe Connect
Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks - connected to your ecommerce store, CRM, or custom platform. Orders flow to invoices automatically. Payments reconcile without manual entries. Reporting is real-time.
Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive - connected to your website contact forms, your ecommerce store, your support system. Every lead captured, every customer record current.
Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce - connected to your inventory system, your 3PL, your accounting software, and your fulfilment partners. See our ecommerce solutions.
Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, Windcave - integrated into your web app, mobile app, or custom platform. Payments processed, recorded, and reconciled automatically.
Trade Me Property, realestate.co.nz, Rex CRM, PropertyMe - connected to your website or custom property management platform. See our real estate solutions.
Twilio (SMS), SendGrid (email), Slack, Microsoft Teams - automated notifications, alerts, and confirmations triggered by events in your systems.
NZISM-aligned integrations, Ministry of Health data exchanges, IRD-connected payroll and reporting systems - built to NZ compliance requirements.
You have a system with an API. We connect it. REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks - we work with the interface that exists, not the one we'd prefer.
How We Approach Integration Work
How Integration ProjectsActually Work
Integration work has a reputation for going over time and budget. Usually because of one of three things: undiscovered complexity in the existing system, API documentation that doesn't match reality, or scope changes mid-project. We handle all three.
Discovery first
We audit both systems before quoting - looking at the actual API documentation, testing against sandbox environments, and identifying the edge cases that blow out scope. You get a fixed quote based on reality.
Build for reliability
Integrations need error handling, retry logic, monitoring, and alerting. An integration that fails silently is worse than no integration. We build with fault tolerance from the start.
Document everything
Every integration we build is documented - data flows, field mappings, error scenarios, and how to maintain it. You're not dependent on us to understand what we've built.
Ongoing support
APIs change. Systems update. We offer maintenance packages that monitor integrations and respond when upstream APIs change in ways that break the connection.

Frequently AskedQuestions
How long does an integration project take?
A straightforward integration between two well-documented systems: 2-4 weeks. Complex integrations with multiple systems, custom data transformation, or undocumented APIs: 6-12 weeks. We scope this honestly upfront.
What if the system we need to connect doesn't have a proper API?
Some older systems don't. We assess what's possible - sometimes there's a webhook, sometimes a CSV export we can automate, sometimes a screen-scraping solution. We'll tell you what's feasible and what it'll cost.
Do you use integration platforms like Zapier or Make?
For simple workflows, sometimes yes - it's faster and lower cost. For commercial-grade integrations where reliability, data volume, and customisation matter, we build custom. We'll recommend the right approach for your situation.
Can you integrate our legacy system that isn't cloud-based?
Often yes - on-premise systems can be integrated via database connections, file exchange, or middleware. We've done it. Tell us what you're working with.
What happens when an API changes and the integration breaks?
If you're on a maintenance package, we monitor and fix it. If not, you contact us and we'll quote the fix. We always document the integration in enough detail that you're not stuck if you need someone else to maintain it.
